Making an Outpatient Appointment

New outpatient patient appointments must be scheduled by calling 865-970-9800. Routine new patient appointments are normally scheduled within 2-3 weeks.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your health and safety is our first priority. Because of concerns related to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have a special plan for our new patients that insures your health and safety by limiting the number of people you see when you visit us for the first time.

To assure compliance with social distancing we are now doing admission evaluations using an audio/video program, or if that is unavailable the telephone. We do ask new patients to attend a brief in-person visit to the clinic to complete required paperwork and to conduct a health screening. We will schedule your remote access visits during this initial in person visit. Please wear a face mask to this in-person visit.

What to bring on your first appointment

  • Insurance Cards
  • Photo ID
  • Medications
  • Face mask/covering

Children under 16 must be accompanied by their legal guardian or parent, not a step-parent.  Bring any legal paperwork regarding your child.

Crisis Appointments

Crisis appointments are made as needed. The caller may be directed to a Peninsula site, or if it is a psychological emergency the caller may be advised to go to the nearest emergency room.

Missed Appointments

We understand when appointments need to be rescheduled.  We do our best to get you in the next available appointment time.
