Congratulations to Bryce for being our first winner from Peninsula Hospital to be awarded with the BEE award. Bryce was nominated by his manager for being an excellent team player and for always having his patients best interest in mind.
Bryce’s Nomination

“Bryce is consistently exceptional. Bryce was scheduled and approved for a week off for vacation. He chose to come in and work half a day so that he could facilitate several patient family therapy sessions. He felt it was in the children and families he worked in best interest since he had built rapport with them and facilitated these meetings himself. We have people that can help cover but Bryce went above and beyond to provide the best patient care possible.
Other examples of why Bryce is excellent is he is always willing to mentor/train new therapists and students. He assists with running groups on the unit when staffing is down in the group department. He is also a facilitator of a mandatory course for Peninsula employees in addition to his therapist responsibilities. He helps with side projects pertaining to the kid’s unit and volunteers for particularly complex cases and manages them effectively. He assists with milieu management and crisis intervention on the unit as needed and even volunteers to work all major holidays so others can be off. Beyond all of this, he is funny, kind and hardworking.”
